ABOUT ME |
My interest in fashion is routed from my textiles teacher at school, Janette Lloyd, who inspired me and made me want to pursue a degree and career in fashion. I loved making clothing in textiles, and instead of design, I found my projects on fabrics more interesting. Also at school, I developed my interest in business studies, and excelled in my A Levels in both Textiles and Business. When I was researching undergraduate degrees, my course at Manchester seemed to combine everything I was interested in and give me excellent prospects for employment after university. My preferred career path is into fashion journalism, and I would love in the future to be able to work at an esteemed magazine such as Vogue or Drapers. A job in fashion journalism appeals to me because it will be different everyday, I would hopefully get to travel and it will suit my personality as well as combining all my best skills. |
